Re:  Domain name

Dear Mr. Peter  A. Buchsbaum,

Thank you for your letter dated November 5, 1998 regarding your objection to my using my private, commercial domain name of flemington-nj.com.

I have worked very hard, for almost 2 years now, to provide a free public service to the people of my community. I have invested a substantial amount of money registering, designing and maintaining the web site, which in any way shouldn’t detract from the Borough's own site. In many places, such as the index page, you will find links guiding people to the town’s own web site.
 
Flemington-nj.com is not a governmental nor an organizational domain name, but strictly a private, commercial one. There has been a disclaimer which designates it as such since it’s inception in March 1997.

I am hoping to meet with Mayor, Austin H. Kutscher, Jr., on this matter as soon as possible in order to resolve any misunderstanding.
