The following statement pertains to the recent controversy between the Borough Council and Flemington-NJ.com.

Although this site is endorsed by the Borough of Flemington, it is privately-owned and maintained by me. Neither Flemington.net nor I were involved in or had any advance knowledge of the Borough's action with respect to Flemington-NJ.com. I was not aware of the intentions or action by the Borough council until I received a call from a Star-Ledger reporter on November 17th, more than a week after the Borough's cease and decist order was sent. Until November 22nd, all I knew about the issue was what I had learned from the newspapers.

I have never profited from this web site and I have neither plans nor desire to do so.
